What Age Is Too Young For Cell Phones?
I have a question for everyone and I ask for your thoughts. What age do you think is to young for a cell phone? Personally, I think any younger then 13 is a bit young to have a cell phone. You see these fourth graders walking around with cell phones and I don’t get it! What would little kids do with a cell phone? I have no idea.
This article talks about health risks for children using cell phones. It concludes that it’s a health risk for children under eight years of age. It also states from different sources that there is no scientific data that supports cell phones being a health risk to any age. It makes many points but I still stand by what I said before. Feel free to voice opinions.
One Deleted Sentence
Facebook has changed their Terms Of Use. One deleted sentence has caused 64,000 to join a group against it. The Terms Of Use policy now states that once you put pictures onto Facebook they now how a right to use them. They could use them in ads or sell them. The possiblilies are endless. Personally since they let us use the space for free on Facebook they do have a right to use our pictures. If they ask the person who posts the picture if they can before they do.If they tookpictures without asking I would completely disagree with it one hundred percent. What do you think about this change back to the old Terms Of Use?
Are We Better With The Internet?
For many thousands of years people lived fine without the internet. Then computers were developed, not long after, the internet came to be. The internet is now a useful tool for schools and projects and social networking. The internet is definitely a useful tool for many things. The question is, are we better off with the internet? I, personally, think it is both a good and bad thing. It is good because we can find information much easier, talk to friends out of school,and download music, much easier then CD’s. It is bad because many scams and predators can easily lurk on the internet. What are your thoughts on the internet? Feel free to share!
